![]() I've tried quiteĪ few connection strings under that approach and they didn't work, so before I descend into questions about the connection string (which I might do after trying a few thousand more combinations), I just wanted to ask the threshold question: Is this even the My initial question (I may be back with more :O) is whether I basically use the same approach for linking the SQL Server tables, but just replace the ".connect=" line with the proper connection string for my situation. Shown below this message to make the connection to the mdb tables stored in the back end. Currently the front end uses VBA like that I need to be able to make these connections (as linked tables) via VBA code. ![]() I have done quite a bit of web research about how to set up the ODBC/SQL Server connection for the linked table, but still am spinning. I'm attempting to migrate data currently in an Access mdb back end to a SQL Server database that is more stable, password protected, etc.
